Desktop assumptions break down on warehouse devices. Operators need to scan, verify and move quickly; scrolling, crowded layouts or unnecessary interactions become real productivity costs when repeated throughout a shift.
I worked from frontline feedback and the existing scanner workflow to shape responsive usability improvements. The emphasis was not visual decoration — it was reducing friction while preserving the reliability and data behavior required by the warehouse process.

The product lesson is simple: context changes what 'good UX' means. In a warehouse, aesthetics matter less than speed, clarity, error prevention and physical usability. Product decisions should be evaluated against the user's real environment, not a desktop mockup.
